FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 17, 2026) – Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:
Gov. Beshear has appointed Rocky Adkins, Brent Tolle and Jimmy England to the State Fair Board.
- Rocky Adkins of Catlettsburg is a former senior advisor to the Governor and a former member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He replaces Michael Berry, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring June 28, 2029.
- Brent Tolle of Taylorsville is a cattle farmer and a senior sales representative at Boehringer Ingelheim. He will serve for a term expiring July 16, 2028.
- Jimmy England of Hardyville is the president of the Hart County Fair Board. He will serve for a term expiring July 16, 2028.
Gov. Beshear has reappointed LaDeidra Jones as a member and as Chair of the Parole Board to serve for a term expiring July 15, 2030.
- LaDeidra Jones of Georgetown is the chair of the Parole Board and has over 20 years of experience working across the justice system.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Annissa Franklin to the Kentucky Housing Corporation Board of Directors.
- Annissa M. Franklin of Lexington is the interim CEO of the Urban League of Lexington – Fayette County. She replaces P.G. Peeples, who passed away, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term, which expires Oct. 29, 2028.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Jean Chenault Logue to the Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents.
- Jean Chenault Logue of Richmond is a retired circuit judge. She replaces Alan Long of Richmond, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2032.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Dr. Karan Shah to the Louisville/Jefferson County Air Board. The Governor has also reappointed John Sistarenik.
- Dr. Karan Shah of Louisville is founder and managing partner at Physician Care Coordination Consultants. He replaces Mitchel Denham, who has resigned, and will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term expiring July 15, 2028.
- John Sistarenik of Louisville is a retired professor of political science. He will serve for a term expiring July 15, 2030.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Jennifer Pusateri to the School Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability Council. The Governor has also reappointed Chuck Fletcher.
- Jennifer Pusateri of Danville is a senior universal design consultant at the University of Kentucky Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching and vice-chair of the Danville Independent School District Board of Education. She replaces Deborah Atherton, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring July 14, 2028.
- Chuck Fletcher of Frankfort is a retired educator and a member of the Franklin County Schools Board of Education. He will serve for a term expiring Oct. 5, 2027.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Dr. Rachel Jonas of Lexington to the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Dr. Rachel Jonas is an assistant professor with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, Division of Laryngology. She replaces Dr. Beth McNulty, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring July 14, 2029.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Lonnie Gann, Richard Rogers and Matt Coomer to the Kentucky Real Estate Commission. All will serve for terms expiring July 14, 2029.
- Lonnie Gann of Bowling Green is a relator and auctioneer with eXp Realty. He replaces Larry Disney, whose term has expired.
- Richard Rogers of Owingsville is a self-employed attorney and real estate broker. He replaces Raquel Carter, whose term has expired.
- Matt Coomer of Springfield is a realtor with eXp Realty. He replaces Jennifer Brown-Day, whose term has expired.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Arthur Hubbard of Paris to the Kentucky Board of Radon Safety.
- Arthur Hubbard is the owner of Hubbard Mechanical. He replaces Donald Karem, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2030.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Penelope Peavler and Andrew Waters to the Early Childhood Advisory Council. The Governor has also reappointed Jamie Rodgers, Greta McKenzie, Twila Burdette and Amy Smith.
- Penny Peavler of Louisville is the executive director of Develop Frankfort. She replaces Rina Gratz, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2029.
- Andrew Waters of Frankfort is the assistant director of the Division of Maternal and Child Health and represents the state agency responsible for Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. He replaces Paula Goff, whose term has expired, and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2029.
- Jamie Rodgers of Lexington is a public service strategist at Accenture. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2030.
- Greta McKenzie of Russellville is a developmental therapist at First Steps. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2030.
- Twila Burdette of Mt. Vernon is the director of the Child Development Center at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2030.
- Amy Smith of Somerset is a principal at Pulaski County Schools. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2030.
