FRANKFORT Ky. (May 19, 2026) – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today his continued commitment to ensuring Kentucky’s elections are free, fair and secure. On this Election Day, Coleman spoke to members of the media at the Office of the Attorney General’s Election Integrity Command Center, located in Frankfort.
The Command Center reviews reports of suspected election law violations. Voters who suspect election law violations are urged to call the Attorney General’s Election Fraud Hotline at (800) 328-VOTE or make a report online.
As of noon Tuesday, the hotline has received 54 complaints of potential election law violations. Messages had been received from 27 of Kentucky’s 120 counties. Since January 1, the hotline has received 350 complaints from 87 counties.

The Election Fraud Hotline is always open to receive messages. On Tuesday, the hotline is answered live by members of the Attorney General’s team when polls open from 6am to 7pm. Tips are reviewed and allegations of election fraud will be referred to the Attorney General’s Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI). The Election Fraud Hotline team is led by Penny Thompson of the Special Prosecutions Division and Tonjua Casey of DCI.
“Every Kentuckian can be confident in the security and integrity of our elections. Our dedicated team of investigators, prosecutors and support staff is working tirelessly to protect every vote. We encourage anyone who suspects election law violations to contact the Attorney General’s Election Fraud Hotline,” said Attorney General Coleman.
Tips are reviewed and allegations of election fraud are referred to the Attorney General's Department of Criminal Investigations. DCI zealously collaborates with the FBI and Kentucky State Police, who are also present at the center on Election Day, to investigate credible allegations of election law violations and work to resolve complaints.
