Attorney General Coleman Statement on Louisville Job Creator and Philanthropist Dan Caudill

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 24, 2025)Attorney General Russell Coleman released the following statement on the passing of Dan Caudill:

“Dan Caudill planted a lot of seeds in his career, but his work to combat addiction is what really took root and sprouted in Louisville. Dan’s family business was focused on giving second chances, and there are countless examples of men and women who took that chance to build a better life.

“Dan was the heart of the Portland neighborhood, a friend to many and a leader for this community. Along with organizations like Volunteers of America Mid-States, Dan was working to transform our city and to change lives. Every day we see the effects.

“It was a sincere honor to call Dan a friend, and we send our condolences to his wife, Andrea, their children, Cassandra, Corey and Connor, the Caudill family and all those who will carry on his legacy.”
