Former Oldham County Deputy Judge/Executive Indicted for Theft and Official Misconduct

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2025)– The Office of the Kentucky Attorney General announced today that action by the Attorney General’s Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Special Prosecutions Unit resulted in the indictment of former Oldham County Deputy Judge/Executive Joseph Ender, 40, for felony theft and official misconduct.

An Oldham County Grand Jury indicted Ender on one count of Theft of Services Greater than $10,000 (Class C Felony) and one count of Official Misconduct First Degree (Class A Misdemeanor).  According to the indictment, Ender diverted equipment and employees from the Oldham County Road Department to complete work on his private property. Ender will be arrainged on January 8, 2026. 

The Attorney General’s Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigated the matter. Assistant Attorney General Lindsey Studebaker will prosecute the case.

The charges in an indictment are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
