FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2025) – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today that action by the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit (SPU) resulted in a guilty plea for a Graves County man charged in connection with a brutal attack on a woman.
Logan Enoch, 38, pleaded guilty in Graves Circuit Court to one count of Assault 2nd Degree, Domestic Violence (Class C Felony). As a part of his plea, Enoch will be sentenced to seven years in prison and is ordered to pay $120,000 in restitution to the victim.
According to the plea agreement filed in Graves Circuit Court, in July of 2024 Enoch attacked the victim, intentionally striking her in the face causing serious damage to her mouth and face. The victim required extensive surgery and was left with permanent nerve damage. Sentencing is scheduled for December 22, 2025.
“The Kentucky AG’s Office will continue prosecuting domestic abusers with every legal tool available to us,” said Attorney General Coleman. “Those who commit domestic violence often escalate to other violent crimes, to include killing law enforcement officers. We will hold these offenders accountable.”
The Mayfield Police Department investigated the case. Assistant Attorney General Barbra Whaley prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Background
This year, Attorney General Coleman partnered with Representative James Tipton (R-Taylorsville) on legislation to enhance penalties for repeat violators of protective orders. The bill unanimously passed the General Assembly and was signed into law by Governor Beshear.
Last year, General Coleman released the 2024 Domestic Violence Prosecution Manual, a comprehensive resource for prosecutors, victim advocates and law enforcement to crack down on domestic violence crimes. Earlier this year, General Coleman published Kentucky's first-ever strangulation resource manual. The toolkit identifies the signs of strangulation for medical professionals and law enforcement and shares strategies to effectively prosecute cases under Kentucky law and how advocates should engage with victims.
