  The Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW) is currently seeking female artists from Kentucky to paint the 2009 Kentucky Women Remembered Exhibit honorees. Bids must be submitted by December 1, 2008. An application form is available on the KCW web site at www.women.ky.gov.
• Kentucky Commission on Women Seeks Nominations for Annual Kentucky Women Remembered

  The Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW) is currently seeking nominations of outstanding Kentucky Women for the Kentucky Women remembered watercolor portraits in the Capitol. Nominations for Kentucky Women Remembered must be submitted by December 1, 2008. Nomination forms are available on the KCW web site at www.women.ky.gov.
• Lieutenant Governor and Kentucky Commission on Women Recognizes Cervical Cancer Awareness Week

  This week, Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo is joining with the Kentucky Commission on Women to recognize National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, September 8-12. This initiative not only raises awareness about cervical cancer’s unfortunate prevalence in Kentucky, but kicks off a statewide commitment to changing the grade of women’s health in the Commonwealth.
