Pennyrile's Spring Photography Weekend Goes All-Digital

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is inviting photographers of all skill levels to participate in the annual Spring Photography Weekend April 11-13.

This year, the event is going all-digital. This weekend consists of a contest with point & shoot, intermediate, and masters divisions, evening programs, critiques and an award ceremony. Bring your own camera. Registration is $30. Register by April 5 and receive a $5 discount. Workshop participants are eligible for a 10% discount on lodging.

The evening presentations will take place at 8:00 p.m.  The presenters will be Susan and Richard Day of Daybreak Imagery. More information about the Days is available at http://www.daybreakimagery.com/about.html.

Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park features a lodge, cottages, campgrounds, and the Clifty Creek Restaurant. Activities range from boating to fishing and golf.
The resort is 20 miles northwest of Hopkinsville, on KY. 109 N. From the Western Kentucky Parkway, exit at Dawson Springs and take KY 109 south.
