Resort Parks Will Serve Up Special Mother's Day Buffet
For a Mother’s Day treat this year, consider taking Mom to dinner at one of 17 Kentucky State Resort Parks. The Mother’s Day menu will be served from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 11.
This year, park restaurants will serve up a special Mother’s Day Buffet including favorites such as Choice Beef Carved on the Line, Succulent Roast Pork with Apple Dressing, Chicken and Dumplings and Fried Catfish & Hush Puppies.
Accompanied by Chef’s Selection of Garden Vegetables, Soup & Salad Bar and Various Desserts, the special buffet is a bargain at $14.95 per adult and $6.95 for children 6 to 12. Beverage cost is extra.
“Last year we served 10,904 meals on Mother’s Day,” said Jessica Rush, administrative branch manager for the parks department. “It’s one of the busiest days of the year at our restaurants.”
