Carter Caves State Resort Park To Host Quilt Show Feb. 9
OLIVE HILL, Ky. – Carter Caves State Resort Park will host the Carter County Extension Homemakers 2008 Quilt Show on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Quilts may be entered in the show on Friday, Feb. 8 from 2-5 p.m. The categories will include: Appliqué, Feed Sack, Cheater Cloth (preprinted), Hand Pieced/Hand Quilted, Hand Pieced/Machine Quilted, Machine Pieced/Hand Quilted, Machine Pieced/Machine Quilted and Tacked and Old. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded.

To reach Carter Caves, take exit 161 off Interstate 64 at Olive Hill. Go east on U.S. 60 for approximately 2 miles and turn left on KY 182 north. Park entrance is 3 miles from the left turn onto KY 182 north.
