(July 19, 2005) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday, July 21, 2005, allowing citizens an opportunity to view the alternatives considered and the federally approve Environmental Assessment, ask questions, and voice any comments or concerns regarding the proposed US 31E reconstruction project. The purpose of the meeting is to gain public input on the material being presented.

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. (May 20, 2005)– Today Deputy Secretary of Transportation, Jim Adams, joined law enforcement and first responders from Hart, LaRue, Hardin and Meade counties, at a press conference in Elizabethtown at Hardin Memorial Hospital to announce the US 31W Corridor Safety Enforcement Blitz. The enforcement blitz will begin May 23 and run through June 5, 2005.
