MANCHESTER, KY. ---(March 31, 2008)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces construction  activities for KY 192 in Laurel County the week of March 31 will include guardrail installation, shoulder and turn lane construction.

Traffic, east and west bound, will be reduced to one-lane, right lane each direction, during construction.  Construction vehicles will be entering and exiting the lane closures frequently.  Lane closures are expected to begin as early as 6:00 AM daily.

Motorists can expect delays and are advised to seek alternate routes during construction, if possible.

The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

 MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION THROUGH THIS AREA AND ARE ADVISED TO BE ALERT FOR SLOWED/STOPPED TRAFFIC
