Wednesday, April 23, 2008 The Kentucky Arts Council has developed a Web site as a virtual representation of Kentucky Crafted: The Market for 2008. Visitors to the virtual market place at www.kycraft.ky.gov will find photos and contact information for exhibitors offering fine traditional and contemporary crafts and art, “Kentucky Proud” specialty food products, books and music recordings.

Wednesday, March 19, 2008 Amy Cordero emerged as the winner among 23 high school students from across the commonwealth that competed in the third annual Poetry Out Loud state finals today, hosted by the Kentucky Arts Council on the campus of Kentucky State University in Frankfort. Emmanuel Nfor of Western Hills High School in Franklin County was named runner-up.

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 For the 13th consecutive year, a selection of proven retailers from beyond Kentucky, will attend Kentucky Crafted: The Market 2008 courtesy of the “Fly the Buyer” program. Five retailers have been invited to receive free travel and accommodations to the 2008 Market in Louisville. They represent art and craft retailers, artist cooperatives, museums, and galleries that have never been to Kentucky Crafted: The Market.

Friday, February 29, 2008 "A Sampling of the 2008 Kentucky Crafted: The Market," is a free exhibit of traditional and contemporary fine art and craft, which opened on February 11 and will run through May 20 in the main lobby of The Kentucky Center, 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville. Sponsored by the Kentucky Arts Council, this show features 22 works by selected Kentucky artists participating in the Kentucky Crafted: The Market at the Kentucky Exposition Center, South Wing B March 8-9, 2008.
