FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Arts Council is proud to partner with the Governor’s School for the Arts, the Kentucky Historical Society, and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture in presenting the Blue Moon Stage at this year’s Kentucky Crafted: The Market, located in South Wing B at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville. Artists from the Kentucky Arts Council’s Performing Arts Directory are scheduled to perform live on March 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on March 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Performing Arts Directory artists will sell CDs at the Blue Moon Marketplace next to the stage. They will also be available to meet the public and sign CDs.
Performances by alumni of the Governor’s School for the Arts, and food demonstrations from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, will also be presented.

Experience a jazz performance by the Drew Miller Trio, a group of alumni from the Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA). The GSA provides hands-on arts opportunities for the state’s talented high school students who are dancers, actors, instrumental and vocal musicians, creative writers, future architects, and visual artists.
