KHS Elects 2006 Executive Board Slate at Annual Meeting
Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky Historical Society members elected their 2006 leadership at their annual meeting at the Old State Capitol in Frankfort on November 10.
Elizabeth “Libby” Lloyd Jones of Midway was reelected President; Robert Michael “Mike” Duncan of Inez was reelected as 1st Vice President; Mary Helen Miller of Shelbyville was reelected as the 2nd Vice President; and Robert E. Rich of Covington was reelected as the 3rd Vice President. Each officer will serve a one-year term ending in 2007.
Four executive committee board members were also elected at the KHS annual meeting. These members are: William Engle, III of Perry County; John Kleber of Louisville; Sheila Burton Mason of Frankfort; and J. Harold Utley of Hopkins County. These board members will serve until their term expires in 2010.

An agency of the Kentucky Commerce Cabinet, the Kentucky Historical Society, since 1836, has provided connections to the past, perspective on the present, and inspiration for the future.
