KHS Elects 2007 Executive Board Slate at Annual Meeting
Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky Historical Society members elected their 2007 leadership at their annual meeting at the Old State Capitol in Frankfort on November 9.
Robert Michael "Mike" Duncan of Inez was elected president; Robert E. Rich of Covington was elected as 1st vice president; William "Bill" R. Black Jr. of Paducah was elected as the 2nd vice president, and Sheila Mason Burton of Frankfort was elected as the 3rd vice president. Each officer will serve a one-year term ending in 2008.
Karen Cotton McDaniel of Frankfort was elected to a term on the KHS executive committee board which expires in 2010. Four new executive committee board members were also elected at the KHS annual meeting. These members are: Walter A. Baker of Glasgow; Yvonne Honeycutt Baldwin of Morehead, William Frederick "Fred" Brashear II of Leslie County, and Ruth Ann Korzenborn of Kenton County. These board members will serve until their term expires in 2011.
