Governor Beshear Appoints Members to Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments
FRANKFORT, KY – Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has appointed the following members to the Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments to serve for terms expiring July 31, 2011:
- Arthur Lewis Azar, of Paducah, is hearing instrument specialist and owner of Paducah Hearing Aid Center, Inc. He is a member of the Hearing Aid Association of Kentucky. Azar represents specialists in hearing instruments. The appointment replaces Steven H. Clark, whose term has expired.
Geraldine Gordon-Brown, of Louisville, is the director of the Client Assistance Program in the Kentucky Department for Workforce Investment. She received her Masters of Human Resources Development from Webster University. Gordon-Brown represents consumer members. The appointment replaces Wilma M. McMillian, whose term has expired.
The Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments consists of nine gubernatorial appointees. The board regulates and controls the licensing, conduct and operation of hearing instruments within the commonwealth.
