FRANKFORT, Ky. A subcommittee of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Public Employees Retirement Systems that is studying the funding of liabilities for the retirement systems will meet on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. EST in Room 125 of the Capitol Annex. The meeting is open to the public.

This working group, entitled “Defining a strategy to fulfill our commitments to existing employees and retirees,” is chaired by Finance and Administration Cabinet Secretary Mike Burnside. Members of the committee are: Stan Cave, State Budget Director; Jack Adams, Kentucky State Police; Ronnie O’Nan, Kentucky Transportation Employees Association; and gubernatorial appointees David Dowell, John Hall, Andrew Jacobs, Todd Lowe, Shawn Ridley and Deborah Tudor.
