Beshear signed an Executive Order today declaring a state of emergency exists within the Commonwealth due to possible economical impact from Hurricane Ike. In accordance with KRS 367.374, the governor can implement provisions of the law aimed at protecting the citizens of Kentucky from predatory pricing, including but not limited to the sale of gasoline and building supplies.

  Frankfort, Ky. – The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology has confirmed that human remains found on June 3 at Camp Shelby, Miss. have been identified as Kentucky Army National Guard Spc. Ryan K. Longnecker.
