Attorney General Conway & Delaplain Disposal Agree to Reduced Rates for Consumers
Attorney General Jack Conway has signed a settlement agreement with Delaplain Disposal Company, Inc. that requires the company to immediately request a $150,000 rate reduction from the Public Service Commission (PSC). In addition, the company will petition the PSC to help prepare an alternative-rate-filing application that will determine whether rates should be reduced even further.
“I want to make it clear that it does not matter whether a utility company is big or small, my office will be protecting the interests of our citizens,” said Conway.
Delaplain serves approximately 250 customers, including Louisville Forge and Gear, in Scott County.
